Health, Safety and Environmental Policy

The promotion and maintenance of occupational health and safety is the responsiblity of all persons in the workplace. It is the duty of every person to ensure that each task is undertaken in a safe manner and that the safe work procedures are followed at all times. Employees are expected to report any unsafe condition or work practices to their Supervisor without delay.

The Directors and Owners of DCCM commit themselves to achieving a workplace that is safe and without risk to health. We will do this in partnership with our managers, personnel, sub-contractors and clients.

We will consistently and conscientiously:

• Provide the necessary resources and training to provide a safe and healthy working environment and encouraging safe work practices
• Work in consultation with our managers, personnel, sub-contractors and clients to understand and manage all risks in the workplace
• Promote an environment of continuous improvement so that the only practice is Best Practice, not current practice
• Comply with all relevant legislation, Code of Practice and client requirements
• Establish measurable objectives and targets and regularly compare these to our results, published for all our stakeholders:
  • Zero Recordable incidents including near misses, medical treatment, restricted work and environmental issues
  • 100% awareness of HS&E in the workplace
  • Compliance to Best Practice Standards
